lol you are right they dont look like it but im pretty sure they are its just the way the balls that overlay them are sitting if the bottom left diagram is anything to go by.
Anyway you have enough good entries and i've got a long weekend to enjoy so im going to split.
I like the top 4 logos and you have an interesting combinations of colors on top right.
When I zoom in it seems that the shapes that connect the spheres are not symmetric.

I also re-did the symmetry as per your pic' reference (updated brief) and I don't think i can get it any more spot on than it is now.
