Is generated in a circle to be used as a seal and most attractive is that it is within the constellation, which the observer can see or know that the item is ...(more)

Optical telescope referenced by the observatory silhouette- no pictured telescope.

The Northwestern Connection:
Radio telescope is the research device at the South Pole- used by Professor Novak amongst other researchers.

Although rather generic, the observatory silhouette was inspired, of course, by Dearborn Observatory.
