Creative brief

*Let me tell you about us:*
We are an startup online bar guide that helps people find what they are looking for when it comes to having a great night out.

*Here is what we need:*
We are looking for a fun, cool, simple, fresh logo that captures peoples attention and lets them get an idea of what we are about. The logo would be used on the website and all other branded articles so it can't be too cluttered. Please play around with being able to use part of the logo as a smaller icon if needed.

*Our target audience is:*
Men and Women who want to expand their drinking horizons worldwide.


*We like these Colors:*
We like light blues & watermelons. But we are prepared to be swayed.

*We like this too:*
We like clean edges & lines. Once again if you have a great idea that's different to this we are prepared to be swayed.

*Our design absolutely must have: *
It must say Bar Engine (not necessarily capitals) The Bar and Engine must be next to each other, not separated with hyphens or anything like that. Two different shades or colors would work well there. We are really keen on being able to separate the font and the logo if need, to just use just the logo on its own.

*Things we don’t like or don't need for this project or other things to avoid using, doing, seeing, etc.*
If you use comic fonts don't bother.

Hi, Thanks everyone for your entries so far. We would really like people to think outside the square on this one. We don't really like the bar icons, martini glasses, saloon doors etc. Would love to see some really original things. Have fun with it. Don't make it comical though!

Can we see someone have a crack at this using inspiration from organic bar materials, Grapevine, barley, wheat etc.

Friends, Laughter... all the things the logo should encompass..

Logo needs to be universally appealing and also give a feeling of ease and simplicity of use.
