My take on the panda bear aspect. I decided to forego the normal face, and just use iconic representations.
In the first example, I went for a touch of whimsy, and used the open space of the b's as ears, filling them with black.
A little less whimsy on the second one. I'm not sure about the face as a favicon, I still favor the b. The panda face tends to start looking more like a racoon at that size ;).
