Another for your consideration. I have darkened the color of the bamboo leaves to help the favicon stand out more.

I really like the font and the range of colors. I agree that the unadorned 'b' is best.

I quite like the device you've used on the 4th version. Is it possible you can develop that a bit to show how it might extend to other uses on the site?

I quite like the overall look of this but the circle of bamboo is a bit too complex. Can you simplify it at all?
