Creative brief

Let me tell you about us.
We are Andean Trade Company, based in Dekalb, IL. Our business is to help US companies export their product(s) to Colombia. Our initial focus will be Illinois based companies that need assistance in building a marketplace for their products in Colombia. We will assist in building a sales channel in Colombia either directly or through distribution partnerships.

Here is what we need:
We need a logo(s) for Andean Trade Company that we can use on signage(tradeshow booth), stationery/business cards, website, and clothing.
“Andean” is taken from the Andes Mountain range that passes through nearly every country in South America.

Our target audience is:
Our target audience will be business-to-business, small to medium sized businesses. We will also target referral sources – accountants, attorneys, bankers, for leads on companies needing export services to Colombia.



We like these designs:
I would like to see our name incorporated into the design. I like the following designs: Coca-Cola, Nike, YouTube, HP, and IBM.



Our design absolutely must have:
For colors it should include some green, such as Sage or Forest.
Fonts should be professional typefaces.

Things we don’t like or don't need for this project or other things to avoid using, doing, seeing, etc.
Do not include people, animals, cars, trucks, boats in the design.
We do not have a website or any marketing materials developed at this time. This may be a project we will post depending on the outcome of the logo design. We want to get started with the logo to begin our Phase II marketing plan(website).
