a few differences here:

texture on the background to give it an ancient feel

colored "glow" on selected pieces

cranes are green

japanese kanji symbols for "ninja" are watermarked on the background

font for the players names is changed in case the japanese one is too hard to read that small

Who doesn't love a ninja? In this game you can be the ninja, sensei, samurai, or japanese princess. The paper crane is the place holder piece, and a big "hi-yah!" is the explosion. I would imagine it swirling in from behind while growing during the animation - much like in japanese ...(more)
