Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a group of DJs that play deep house and tech house music. We chose the name "In 2 Deep" because our music is focused towards relaxed vibes and deep grooves for dance music fans. We play in bars and clubs in downtown Denver.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo for general promoting. The logo will be featured on flyers, email blasts, messageboards, myspace, etc. The logo needs to look good in both large and small formats. For example, we would use a large picture for the background of our myspace page, but we would use a much smaller version for flyers.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Dance music fans and bargoers in downtown Denver. We have a monthly residency in a club and a monthly residency in a bar. Our music reaches an audience ages 18 to 39.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Futuristic or urban/metropolitan style of font would be great. We would like to use blue, gray, and black as the primary colors. We do not mind seeing other colors if they are used. Our only suggestions are that thought it would be cool to see some designs with headphones and some without.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The new logo must look completely different than our old logo (which is the only file that is attached to this project). The name must be spelled exactly as we have it listed, which is "In 2 Deep". We do not want to see "Into" or "In too" and there must be spaces in between the words so "In2Deep" is not acceptable.

Brief updates

We have decided that we do not like any fonts that looks like graffiti. We would also like to avoid seeing vinyl records in any of the submissions. We feel that it is a little too retro, as we are looking for something modern/futuristic.
