Hiya dilated5k... We aren't looking for anything using initials. I hate being critical, but the sun graphic looks more like a crown and doesn't portray a mental image of the sun. The image should leave no doubt about what it is, even if the word solar wasn't part of the logo. Yes, its simple, but its too simple and could ... (more)

We aren't looking for anything using initials. I hate being critical, but the sun graphic looks more like a crown and doesn't portray a mental image of the sun. The image should leave no doubt about what it is, even if the word solar wasn't part of the logo. Yes, its simple, but its too simple and could easily be copied. If you would like to take another whack at it, take another look at the sample files for inspiration. The sun image in the PDF file might work if more rays are added and oriented to resemble a vortex. Again, we don't mean to be picky, but we are looking for a certain look and feel. The problem is trying to explain it in words. (less)
