Creative brief

Blue Lynx Marketing, Inc.

The company is a small start up marketing firm that specializes in marketing and advertising campaigns for small business.

Our services focus on digital marketing such as website development, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and social media marketing but we also offer traditional marketing services including copywriting, advertising campaign creation and management, and direct marketing.

Logo Parameters
The logo should obviously have some hint of blue in it and I would like to match the blue that is used in Google’s text links. The name “Blue Lynx” plays off of “web links”, as most Search Engines show “blue links”. My hope is that my audience subconsciously ties the two together. One thought on how to do this would be to use the same font for the word "marketing". One of the design goals should be to incorporate the idea of a text link in the logo.

In case you don’t know, a “lynx” is a small wild cat. I do not want a cute and cuddly cat logo however. When I imagine the “lynx” aspect incorporated into the logo, I picture abstract cat elements.

Overall, the logo should look more abstract and technical but also maintain a level of versatility and professionalism. Beyond anything else, make sure it does not look cartoonish.
