Creative brief

Gaymesh is a new gay dating/networking website I'm building with the goal of finally proposing a decent free service in a marketplace that has up until now only had mediocre websites.

Mesh stands for web/network and we're aiming to become a web 2.0 dating website mixing concepts from facebook, traditional profile searches, and chat/im. Later we will expand this concept of network and include several business directories (what are the next parties going on around me). Also in the work is an iPhone client which will take the entire website mobile, with location based services as well (what other users are around me, send them a message directly).

Our target audience would be 18 - 40 year old gay guys (mostly, girls would be included too but are a secondary target).

Our strengths are a strong solid web 2.0 website, completely free, sexy design (still looking for that too, so if the logo project turns out well, further collaborations are possible).

We've already had a couple of logo designs done, going in the right direction, but none completely satisfactory, but I'm including them in anyway as a reference.
