Creative brief

Hi,

We are top 5 Snowboard-shop located in Finland and we are extending our shop to the internet. We are know for our professionalism and reliability with easygoing attitude. The employees at the store are young, outgoing and very knowledgeable about snowboarding and our logo should convey that spirit of the store itself. Our target group is 18-30 years old.

We are seeking logo which would come to our new internetshop's website www.myboard.fi and right after we have decited the logo, there are going to be website layout-project with 500$ reward and this logo will be used in that project. Launch of this website is going to be at autum.

The logo what we are looking for should be print friendly (no fine vector lines).

Basically three versions of that same logo are needed:

one with only a graphic visual (for use in print, logo needs to work as stand alone symbol),

graphic visual + "MyBoard" text (Myboard text should be easy to see)

graphic visual + texts "www.myboard.fi" and "Intersport Forum – Helsinki". (text can be with small font)

The first and second versions can be one and the same. The logo can feature only the letter “MB” if needed.

Here are couple bechmarks for the logo and for future lay-out project so that you can get the picture what we are looking for and what for:

http://www.overboard.biz/index.php Uses the same ecommerce platform as MyBoard will use. Look and style is good, layout not optimal (too wide and too many navigation levels)

http://www.suksikauppa.com Width and element placement good, look and feel too corporate and not cool enough.

http://www.boardstock.net/ The market leader in Finland. Cool looking, but element placing not what we are looking for.
