LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Hello, our site is NapervilleImage.com. We are looking to be a nightlife/ lifestyle/ Entertainment magazine for the Naperville, IL area. We feel that there's a shift in the young adults' interests. For example, today the young adult woman not only would like to find out the best new hair styles for the spring and where to get them, but how the choices made by their local politicians are affecting her directly. Furthermore, we are part entertainment magazine with smart, snarky editorial, part news source with strong journalism, and part recreational guide catering to a calendar of varied interests.

However, we will be focused on nightlife, sending photographers into different bars and clubs to obtain traffic and provide word-of-mouth marketing.


HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a horizontal navigation bar with the following titles: Home, Events Nightlife, Restaurants, Fitness, Fashion, Salons, Dating, Recreation/ Sports, Entertainment, Visit, Move, Business, Travel

Also, we need an area that will focus on event calendar, photo gallery, promotions, video, contact us, advertise, etc.

We also like the featured, content boxes that are seen on almost every homepage where content is involved.

We will need a video player on the home page, and we like how bigtennetwork.com uses theirs.

We will need display advertising and we like how Espn uses theirs.

We also need area for daily links for news and culture.

And a place to login, join, search features.

And links to join us on myspace, twitter, and facebook.



OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Young Adults who live, visit, or are interested in moving to Naperville, IL.

Askmen.com - probably what we would like to look like most.

bigtennetwork.com - really like the where the video player is located and would like similar
metromix.cm - our concept is similar and the calendar feature is something we will need
timeout.com/chicago - also, similar concept, but this site is too busy - looking for more Whitespace
allhiphop.com

barackobama.com - very clean lines, also like the Whitespace used
espn.com - We really like their use of banner ads

Essentially, we want our content more orgazined and not in a blog format.
