Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Gizmo Storage is a hip, fun, Self-Storage facility. We've attempted to infuse a little humor and fun into a rather mundane industry. The "Gizmo swirl" in our logo, is incorporated throughout our facility. For example, instead of using zeros in our unit numbering, they contain the Gizmo swirl.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

For our new logo, we're looking for quality, creativity, and a little whimsy. We would like to see a new take on the swirl in our existing logo. The current Gizmo swirl is simply the maraca font. We want a more distinct swirl for the logo, that can be trademarked. It shouldn't be too busy, though. It needs to be easily read when driving by our sign at 65 mph.

The new logo will be used on our sign, website, business cards, letterhead, marketing material, and leases. Thus, it needs to scale well.

Great logo designs may be invited to redesign our website.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience are customers looking for a safe, secure, state-of-the-art facility to store their precious belongings. We distinguish our facility as the only one in our market with lights inside every storage unit.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Our facility is beige and forest green. The font and style should say "fun" but be crisp and legible.

We don't want to see: the typical padlock or key symbols - that is way overdone
