Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Our nonprofit, social enterprise is called PACKS Rescue, (People & Animals
Collaborating Kindness, Sacramento, see PACKSrescue.com)

PACKSrescue is in the start up phase of creating an urban animal rescue center in a low income neighborhood in Oak Park, Sacramento, California. Our Center will be supported by innovative
profit making and assisted animal therapy programs that promote the interdependence of people and animals. PACKS takes a new approach to reduce animal homelessness by elevating the public's perception of shelter animals through promoting their abilities to improve our health,
education and welfare.



HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a graphics designer to create a logo which incorporates the values of an urban animal village, comprised of packs of people helping animals and packs of animals helping people. Our logo must be catchy, solid, fun and symbolic of an effective, social enterprise animal rescue, built on self sustaining principals in order to achieve our goal of No More Homeless Pets, Sacramento 2019.

Canine and feline packs work cooperatively together to ensure community basic needs are taken
care of. People and companion animals work cooperatively together to enhance each other's lives. Our logo needs to reflect this image of cooperation.

Urban Sacramento community with a special emphasis on Web 2.0 and youth

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

designs that show an image made up of small figures that you don't notice at first, of people/animals, like a leaf made up of green peace animal figures, or the humane society of the US logo. Also, circular images of animals and people in packs

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

boring, amateurish.
