Good grief. Defensiveness reeks of chips on the shoulder should anything be questioned. Please leave your insecurities at the door and just handle some robust querying and criticism. "he made $202 and you didn't" just about sums up the level of thought applied to 1) the logo and 2) the poorly worded response to a subjective opinion. Who's concerned with ... (more)

Who's concerned with the entries that were not selected... (mine included)? The focus is on the awarded design and it's lack of apparent (subtle or otherwise) concept. Thanks to Prime Studios for illuminating the rationale behind the selection. It is useful to know these thought processes. The questioning of perceived knowledge needn't be scary thing JackLeftTown. Instead of trying to put down the design that succeeded why not look at the one you did and figure out what it was that didn't work and learn from your mistakes instead of justifying them? a "big fat nothing" is what you got out of your contribution. This design is vibrant, if the company wants to show off their printing capabilities they need something that has color and dynamics. Innovation is about fresh thinking, and we wanted to have a new age design. wherever the inspiration came from, what oh what is the meaning behind this design? it smacks of a big fat nothing, and hence the brand has adopted this lack of anything by association. unless you are able to expound?
