Douglas R. Beam, P.A., Attorneys and Counselors at Law was founded in 1988. Our law firm is comprised of trial lawyers and concentrates in the areas of personal injury (including wrongful death, trucking accidents, automobile vehicle accidents, airplane accidents, nursing home and assisted living facilities accidents, premises liability, legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, medical malpractice, commercial disputes, etc.) and criminal defense. We represent people of all walks of life and often represent people in worthy and just, yet controversial and politically unpopular, causes.
We are a referral based law firm, i.e., our clients come to us through word of mouth and through referrals from other lawyers. We want our website to be fresh yet not so edgy that our referrals from other attorneys and from others in the community will be offended.
Our colors on our letterhead are big orange and purple. We want to incorporate these colors in the website design.
We do not want the "template" look that is prevalent in many law firms' websites, e.g., scales of justice, "lady justice," gavels, eagles, undistinctive looking courthouses, etc.
The website should give equal billing to personal injury (civil law) and criminal law so that when other attorneys or others in the community come to the website, they will immediately know we concentrate in both areas of law.
