LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a structural steel fabricator. You may visit our website to get a feel for what we do, www.weldonsteel.com. We take steel beams and fabricate it to engineered specifications to be used in the structural skeleton of larger type buildings.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We have been playing with a general design, but are having trouble getting it to look exactly right. I have included a copy of what we have been working toward as an example. We definitely want the chevron, but the coloration and letters and font really don't strike us. The idea behind the chevron is 3 pieces of steel, bolted together. It should look like steel. I am including a copy of a screen shot from a magazine title that kinda has a steel look for reference also. We just can't seem to put it all together in a nice looking package where the letter font and color, and the chevron color is right. I think the size of the font as compared to the letters in the example are probably close to what we want, but we are open to all ideas. This logo will become the company standard and will be embroidered on hats, screenprinted on t-shirts, used on company letter head and business cards, etc.
PS: I am not familiar with the file types listed below, except for pdf, so I listed it. We have autocad, microsoft office, and a few others, so anything that opens in them is fine
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience will be broad based from our customers who see our apparrel and letterhead to employees.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We are having trouble with this. We like what is attached, somewhat, but the overall professionalism just isn't there.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The chevron must be used, unless you have a better idea. :)
