LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Here is the description that appears on the website: "Geonomica is a consulting firm with client engagements across many industries, including banking, private equity, management consulting, accounting, technology, education, and health care. We are retained to help our clients express themselves with greater clarity and precision – in speeches, articles, research monographs, and op-eds. In addition, we introduce our clients to new ideas and new thinking to enhance their competitive position and bolster their public profile as thought leaders."

My inclination is for something very staid, sober, bordering on stodgy. The audience is primarily the financial industry -- both in the U.S. and throughout the world. But it's not exclusively finance-oriented. So I'd be interested in seeing logos that have a specific finance orientation, but also ones that are more generic.

I'm certainly open to seeing ideas that don't fit the "staid/sober/stodgy" motif, but keep in mind the audience.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

This logo will be used on the website, www.geonomica.com, and on stationery and letterhead.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Business types -- CEOs and their communications staff

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

I envision a globe being included in the logo (that's what the "geo" in "Geonomica" refers to). But I'm open to additional ideas.

I'm not looking for anything funny or light-hearted. The audience is high-level professionals.

Here's one website I like: www.legatum.com. I also like many of the entries for the option to design a t-shirt for Forbes. You can find these by going to the CrowdSpring website and typing "Forbes" into the search box.
