Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

DeepThought Consulting is a new firm located in Chicago. Our focus is to bring high-energy, creative solutions, and pristine execution to the world of IT. We are former best-of-breed infrastructure consultants that are highly technical, yet savvy on the executive plane. We are a younger group of individuals.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo that is less tech and more art. We are looking for a clean design that can look good in B&W. We also need this to be simple enough to be distinct/viral enough that people can immediately recognize our logo, thus it should not be similar to common tech logos (msft, cisco, nortel, avaya, vmware, etc.)

We want this to be: Sophisticated, professional, clean, clever, boutique, appealing, elegant, confident, tasteful

We don't want this to be: busy, frilly, techie, flowery, subdued, artsy, conservative, obnoxious, mom-and-pop

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Any business that is larger than 50 employees. Our audience is anyone that may need business or IT consulting services.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We would prefer to not see objects that are associated with computers in the design (such as cables, keyboards, etc.) as they tend to represent PC repair, etc. Feel free to prove us wrong, however.
