Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a dermatology practice offering compassionate, state-of-the-art care to our patients. We offer medical, cosmetic (including laser), and surgical dermatology services. Our patients love coming to see us. We have a beautiful office, a warm staff, and we strive to offer the best and latest treatments while still caring for each patient as an individual.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo for our business cards, stationary, forms, etc.
We would like to have a stand-alone logo as well as something that fits with our name:
Dermatology and Skin Care Associates, P.C.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our patients range in age from newborn to 100+. We take care of families and of individuals. We want both men and women to feel comfortable with our logo, and we want both cosmetically-oriented and medically-oriented patients to feel comfortable as well.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We would like to have some burgandy in our logo if possible (it is our favorite color).
We are open to other colors in addition.

We have included a copy of our old title and icon (uploaded below). We are open to having the new logo include some sort of diamond shape to made an easier transition from the old logo. Or, we are willing to go in a completely new direction if there is something else we like that does not include the diamond wingding.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We want something professional and also stylish. We are open to new ideas.

We are open to logos with faces or icons of people or families, as long as they don't look too cosmetic, but still look very appealing.

We think we want the "Dermatology and Skin Care" part of our name to seem like one idea, because that is what makes our name unique from other dermatology practices in the area thar are named "such and such dermatology."

We were hoping to see some representations of families (as faces or figures) as a possibility. Perhaps some creatives could try something like that? Also, please spell out the "and." We do not use the "&" in our name. Thanks so much, we appreciate everyone's hard work!

We are open both to logos with faces/figures/individuals/families, and also logos without those elements. Thanks!

After looking at the various entries, we have refined our vision of what we want our logo to convey. The previous entry we liked best included a figure with arms raised which we loved because we thought was very joyful and also elegant. Unfortunately, that creative could not complete our project. We are excited to see your new ideas!

We are currently thinking that the logo should ideally convey a happy patient (or patient(s), as long as it does not get too complicated). Perhaps a figure is better than a face, as we treat the whole body. We want something simple and clear and elegant. We do not want flowers or anything too feminine.

The logo could also include a reference to an initial or initials, either D or DSCA, or DSC, or it could include a reference to our old symbol.

Thanks so much for your efforts, we really appreciate it!

We would love it if someone could try a happy-looking full body simple figuine such as a stick figure or other simple figure, along with our first initial, initials, or a diamond. This was an idea we really liked--as we felt it brought exactly the right message to our patients--and we are hoping someone can get inspired by it and make it materialize! Thanks!!!

Someone suggested that if I downloaded some pictures of other logos that I liked, that might help inspire creatives in their search for my logo vision. So I am uploading some logos that I like just from "googl-ing" the word logo. Most of these have clear text and an attractive visual. I hope these help inspire you. Thanks so much for your efforts!
