I want something that is professional looking as I will be competing with larger public relations agencies for work.

I like simple, clean, classic designs

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

I don't like cartoonish logos or logos with too many different colors

I've added examples of several logos that I like. I like the idea of a simple font. Not more than two colors. I also like the idea of tying in the meaning of the word signal. The reason that I chose signal was because I liked the many applicable meanings-

- to communicate
- notable
- a detectable physical quantity or impulse (as a voltage, current, or magnetic field strength) by which messages or information can be transmitted
