Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

We are the Midtown Attorneys of Oklahoma City. We've purchased & remodeled an old building in the Midtown Renaissance historic district in OKC. We're looking for a standout logo, letterhead, business cards, etc., to use for all of our marketing and on our website. We want progressive & modern, but professional looking for our industry. The Midtown Renaissance area can be viewed at www.midtownrenaissance.com (not our website, but we like it), and you can take a virtual tour of the District. We're a small law firm that does big business and want to convey that to our potential clients. Our formal name is Beets McNaughton, PLLC and we d/b/a MidTown Attorneys. We would like to incorporate both names into the design.

Fresh logo, letterhead & business card design, to be used for all of our marketing.

Business formation & transactions, real estate transactions, contracts & collections are our biggest types of clients. Our biggest clients come from out-of-state businesses looking to do real estate transactions in Oklahoma or to file suit on breach of contract.

Of what we just reviewed, really like style of the designs submitted on Le Cafe de Paris and The Poor Scholar.

Do not want the typical gavel or scales, can be incorporated, but must be in a fun, fresh way. Logo must stand out from the crowd for our phonebooks & letterhead. We would like to incorporate the Midtown Renaissance feel to our design and incorporate our formal name of Beets McNaughton, PLLC along with Midtown Attorneys.

Would like the logo with lots of color (except no purples or pinks), but for letterhead, will be using cream linen paper, so would like letterhead in different shades of browns or black/brown combo.

We have a few days left, so for a couple of days, we're throwing caution to the wind. Give us more graphics and modern edge. We've received some really good stuff, but want to really get that "wow" factor. Of course, it is for a law firm which is boring for you I'm sure (boring for us at times, too!), but we want our logo to be forward thinking, a standout, want our stationery to be visible from several feet away, unmistakable, undeniable, like it is the most important piece of paper on the addressee's desk and is just waiting to be picked up and read. We've stated before we use a cream linen paper - someone emailed me and said that was "sooooooooo 80's passe'." We were kids in the 80's, and all I remember are Madonna videos, neon colors and fishnet stockings from the 80's, so I wouldn't really know about stionery from that decade . . . I just know I've seen WAY TOO MUCH plain white paper and too many plain white business cards cross my path!!! So we're open to other colors, throw in some funky scales if you must, just make us the most unforgettable law firm logo & stationery ever created!!! (But of course, in a good way. . . . . .) Thanks to all of you, we're happy we're here. Michele, Midtown Attorneys.
