Here is what's cooking at Plugmyvideo.com.

Our new startup is a social network that provides a platform for self promoters of hobbyist, business owners, professionals, musicians and entreprenuers alike.

The site will focus on the exhibition of content delivered through video stream as well as blogging, pictures, reviews and rating, instant message, private messaging and so on.

We are looking for a design that is very user friendly, has loads of white space (clarity)
and delivers a balance of ultra simplicity and web 2.0 coolness.

About the site:


The homepage will be a basic template of the rest of the site with few variations.

We have supplied the logo. It is set against a black background. You may intergrate the top[ of the site as a black border or table to have the logo sit within that space on the left hand side.

We wish to use very little black and keep the rest available for white space. Try a 80/20 approach.

There will be a homepage, a members page (Mary's page) a plugmybook page that has a different layout from the homepage.

We already have a splash page, but may ad a different one later.

Other:
we would like two design submissions from the creative. One is our own crudely hand drawn schematic of a basic representation
of the site as we see it. You may have some liberty here. The 2nd should be an original take on it from your own angle.

When you design the layout for the channels (video links) Pleasee keep in mind that the list of channels will grow overtime. With this in mind please come up with a way for the list to grow as channels are added.

Please keep in mind that some buttons may be added later or renamed at some other point. What we are looking for is a look and feel.

Color schemes: We like soft colors such as white space/light grey/light blue/faint greens

Remember, we want people to stick around at the site and need to keep it very usable as we anticipate high viewer ship.
