Creative brief
We need a logo for a credit card search website that is fun, modern, clean, and clever.
The "ping" refers to a radar, so that can/should be part of the design (whether the classic "sweep" radar, or the "wave" like radar and dish (like the symbol for an RSS feed).
We need the logo to work with the name for the site (creditping.com).We currently have not decided on colors or fonts, so the field is wide open (though we like greens). Please: no RED!!!
We like RateSurfer.Com's logo as a good example of the above attributes. We also like "vintage" looks--though we are also open to super-modern as well.
A successful design will ideally be integrated into icons and roll-overs on the site, which we have not yet developed.
