To help clarify what we're looking for: We need an illustration with 9 objects representing the "components of the ecosystem". Those objects might be buildings, schools and people. The major objects are HUMAN CAPITAL, CORPORATIONS and the ILLINOIS TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION. Additional objects that feed into the ecosystem need to represent: - INVESTORS (maybe dollar signs) who provide funding for programs ... (more)
To help clarify what we're looking for:

We need an illustration with 9 objects representing the "components of the ecosystem". Those objects might be buildings, schools and people.

The major objects are HUMAN CAPITAL, CORPORATIONS and the ILLINOIS TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION.

Additional objects that feed into the ecosystem need to represent:
- INVESTORS (maybe dollar signs) who provide funding for programs and start-ups, they make money when it all works
- START-UPS who are small technology businesses just opening and in need of strong technology talent to propel them forward
- the NATIONAL WORKER POOL represents sources of technology talent (a type of human capital) that might be attracted to our corporations and start-ups from all over the country
- local UNIVERSITIES need to attract students and turn out technology talent (another type of human capital)
- local PRIMARY & SECONDARY SCHOOLS need to bring in expertise from technology corporations to help develop interest in young students. The Primary and Secondary schools feed the Universities.
- CAREER TRAINING CENTERS re-education local talent in the key areas desired by the technology corporations.

I want the relationships that I've described to be portrayed graphically (arrows?) with not many words.

The main message we want to get across to donors (Corporations) is that we understand they need a stronger technology talent pipeline of Human Capital and we (Illinois Technology Foundation) will help stregthen that pipeline by funding education and networking programs.

This is explained in words in the document, but I'm hoping your illustration will help simplify the message.
