Creative brief

We are an Online Surf and Skate shop Called Zendog.
We carry a wide range of Brands for both hardware and Clothes
We need a Logo, Logo will be used on web site, packaging and own brand Products (t-shirts, hats, etc.)
the name “Zendog” implies a “tough” guy (Dog) that is chilled out (Zen) – so feel free to work with that idea.
Yes, it is ok to use a Dog figure in the Logo, other ideas are also welcome.

Our target audience is: Young male (15 – 25) .
They are Brand aware and see themselves as non conformist individuals.
They either surf or Skate. They Value Cool Factor
We don’t have a specific design in mind, but we generally are looking for something that will resemble other skate industry brand logos : see http://www.warehouseskateboards.com/allbrands.asp
Our design absolutely must have:
One Color only – Black
Should include Logo + “ZENDOG” Written under
