Creative brief

WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO
i am establishing a "not for profit" (NFP) organisation that aims to give profile and voice to australian's concern about climate change and the need to act. in particular it aims to use celebrity, art and the media to keep public concern regarding climate change action "in the faces" of australian politicians.

the NFP will recruit celebrity "ambassadors"; run a major art competition each year that focuses on climate change; and run a big "gala/party/concert" to present the art award and draw media attention.

WHAT I NEED
i need a logo for the climate change NFP.

the audiences that the logo will need to relate to are: arts community, sponsors (corporates, and the main stream media - a diverse audience i know.

i have been playing with the idea of the main message being "90% emission reduction by 2050". i think this could be represented around the idea of "90 by 50 or 90@50 or 90%b450" - you get the idea.

the logo will be used on a website, on letterhead, presentations and posters.

LOGOS I LIKE
i like the (red) logo look and feel - to me its strong, simple, gritty and "groovy". be good to get that look and feel.

i like the idea that NFP is a bit "in your face" - and some of the art it will support should be confrontation (to politicians at least).

hope brief helps and look forward to see what creative ideas eventuate - cheers bill
