Design a box label for a new veterinary pharmaceutical sold to cattle farmers. This is the launch product for Alleva Animal Health, a new start-up company. The box design will also be used as template for future range extensions.

Hello everyone - just a quick message on our judging of the entries - at the end of the design period we intend to take the preferred designs and present them to a number of farmers and veterinarians. We will ask them individually for their feedback on the following:
- which label immediately gains their attention and why?
- what does the label convey to them about the product?
- Does it give the impression the product is a premium brand?

This feedback will be part of our decision.

Following a request I have uploaded the briefing document, competitor label layouts and Label design requirements into pdf. form.

Thankyou for the entries to date - some interesting labels that would give continuity to a range but there are few that integrate the brand successfully with the graphic. I imagine how the BOSS brand would look if it were removed from the box and placed on a sundry item (such as a shirt, brochure etc) - there are not many design entries where the brand would be memorable by font or associated image when used in this way. Some of the labels would not have any unique text or integrated graphic that we could place on the item.

Hello everyone. We have taken this opportunity to extend the deadline for this project as well as offer a second award of $700. The reason for this is that we think some of the designs may have graphic elements suitable for a second smaller product we wish to launch in the same market. This product is a simple generic product and does not require its own unique graphic identity, just some element that would make it readily identifiable as an Alleva brand.
