Who are you?

We are a blog/lifestyle website located in Vancouver BC. Our site is about promoting environmental and sustainability awareness in our community, but it does so as a lifestyle blog. We have a team of writers posting in areas on fashion, local restaurant/food culture, sports, etc.

What do you need?

We need a logo that we can use on our website. Our website layout will have the logo on the header in the top left.

We would also like to be able to use it in stationary/business cards in the future, but that is another project.

Who Is Your Audience?

Our audience is the 20-35 year old Vancouverite. However, depending on the success of our site we would consider moving to other neighboring communities, so our logo design does NOT need to have 'vancouver specific' graphics (such as mountains, city skyline, etc.) unless you want to incorporate that in your design.

We Like These Examples

We have developed a colour palette we will be using in the development of the site.
Feel free to use any of the colours. We would like the logo to have 2 dominant colours, and our original idea was to use the green and blue, but we are open to using 2 different colours as the dominant ones. In addition, if you want to add other colours from our palette on the logo that is fine.

We are open to designs that are only typography, typography with icon next to it, or all within a graphical element.
