Every year the Santa Claus House ( http://www.santaclaushouse.com ) in North Pole, Alaska receives tens of thousands of Letters to Santa from children all over the world.
We have decided to post a few (hundred) of them online for the world to see. Everyone always wonders what happens to all those letters to Santa. Now you know.
The letters will be digitized (masking any personally identifying informatiion) on the website KidsSantaLetters.com.
The main feeling of the site will be along the lines of "kids say the darnedest things", although there will also be "tearjerker" letters from children less fortunate than most of us.
This project is to create a logo for the website. Again, the site is KidsSantaLetters.com (not live yet).
You may or may not use the ".com" in the logo. I don't care one way or the other and will leave it up to your discretion.
One thing I do NOT want to see is logos that look like they were written by a 40-year old trying to be a five year old...i.e. looking like they were written in crayon and every other letter backwards. Thanks, but no thanks.
Keep in mind this logo will almost exlcusively be used on a website, so it has to look good and be legible at a small size (no bigger than 250x150 at 72dpi.)
Other than that, it's wide open....Have fun.
Deliverables are:
Final Logo Art in EPS (NOT AI) format with all fonts stroked, in CMYK...
AND...
a favicon that goes with the logo. If you don't know what that is, look it up.
Any questions, let me know.
