Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

This is a application that we have been developing for over 12 months and we are preparing to launch. We are a young company with a flair for coding. The product is designed so that it is simple to use but still provides powerful information to companies and individuals regarding the status of their servers or websites. The product constantly monitors websites, mail servers etc and provides real-time alerts to designated contacts with regards to issue with these services. The applications will link into various social applications such as Twitter and also provide alerts through more standard means such as e-mail, sms etc. The product will also have a white-label component allowing other companies such as IT and designers to re-badge the product and resell under there own brand.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

The logo will be used primarily on our website and web application but it will also need to be used on invoices and potentially some print media. We need a logo that somehow integrates the concept of Up or Not monitoring into the logo either through manipulation of the text or via some emblem or badge preceeding the text. We have included a screenshot of the design of our website for this product. Whilst the application itself is complete the design of website is still being worked on but the image should give an understanding of the overall look and style that would suit us.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is basically anyone with a website or server that needs monitoring. All businesses who have a critical need for their website/servers to be operational 100% (such as e-commerce etc) are see as one of our main markets along with web startups who need to ensure that their web applications are online and operational. Ideally we would like for these organisations to view us as solid, reliable, friendly and open. The other focus market is that of other companies such as IT or design-houses who wish to rebrand and resell the product.
