Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

The company is called "FanPulse", its a sports site & iPhone app that is fan-centric, where the voice of the fan is the most important (because lets face it, without fans, what's the value of sports)

FanPulse is an easy-to-use, customizable and interactive companion for the modern sports fan. FanPulse enables casual conversations, trash-talk and in-depth discussion with your real friends around the sports you care about. This works because FanPulse combines a personalized way to follow the your sports, teams and athletes and a fully-integrated messaging platform to interact with your real friends. We're starting with an iPhone app, and then moving on to the web shortly after.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo for the new company. We're looking at three primary places to use it: as an icon for our iPhone app, within the iPhone app, and as a logo on the website. Square-ish or rectangular (wider than high) is preferred.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Sports fans, duh! Probably mostly male, tech savvy, and interested in both staying on top of news/scores, but also talking about them and broadcasting their thoughts to their friends

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Timeless logos like Cubs and Steelers and Vikings; Cool logos like Celtics and Mavericks. However, these logos are just some of the designs that we like from being sports fans for years, they are not necessarily the only design we would like, so get as creative as you can.

We also like the iPhone icons for TweetDeck and GoWalla. Brighter colors, not blue or black.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We want bright colors that resonate with guys who are into sports. We don't want too much blue or black in the design.
