Maybe somebody could take the "t" in witness and make it resemble the Christian cross and then combine it with the flames in way other then the official methodist logo. To get an idea of the old not too attractive way you can check out this: http://www.umc.org/site/c.lwL4KnN1LtH/b.2286893...

I'm adding some images to try to stimulate some creative imagination. If you will check out the photos, you will see that there is a common design that shows in our buildings of a circular object above three columns. Maybe someone could take this theme and somehow work it into the Witness logo. I hope this helps.

We had a meeting and here’s the deal: Witness is the name of the worship team that oversees a Sunday church service. This morning we decided to name that service “New Spirit” The quotes are not part of the name.

So, I’m going to sweeten the pot on this project (another $300) and ask that somebody come up with a New Spirit logo that ties in with Witness. We are presently leaning towards Janisa’s entry #2

We would like to see someone take the T in Witness and try to make it resemble a cross sort of like Blueii’s entry # 4 and then the flames either left as the dot on the “i” or cleverly attached to the T cross maybe? Coloration-wise we like the way Janisa did the flames on entry 14. We like the way the little flame on the left casts a shadow on the big flame it’s in front of. That shadow effect could be just a little more noticeable maybe?

Lastly, we also like Janisa’s number 16 the way the letters are casting a shadow in front of the logo. When we get it finalized we will ask the winner to give us one with a shadow and a plain one. I hope that isn’t violating any rules here. If so disregard.

So, now we have “New Spirit” to tie in with Witness and a little more $ to get you gals and guys motivated. We will want the flames displayed on the New Spirit logo and the T made to look like a cross similar to Witness.

Fontwise, Janisa’s choice is what we were looking for, so if you want to get our attention use a similar font.

Just about all the designs are fabulous. All of you guys are great!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Getting some great new submissions. From now til this is over, please submit your items together, both Winess and New Spirit. Maybe you gals and guys can come up with some cleaver way to tie them together like 39 did with the "it"
