Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are architects who have designed and developed a series of modular, prefabricated house designs that are attractive, well-designed, efficient, and best of all, will be affordable to many people. It is an entire system and/or concept of houses. The houses are designed for many different people and living conditions. If there is one word to describe this project, it would be FLEXIBILITY. The house designs are timeless and incorporate modern as well as more traditional design components.
We work closely with builders and manufacturers and we are ready to have our first houses built.

(We have recently formed a company called Concept One Plus but we plan on marketing our project/ houses simply as one + plus.)


HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

1. LOGO (think of it as a visual concept for use on all of our marketing materials, communication and web presence)
2. BUSINESS CARD
3. LETTERHEAD, ENVELOPE

We plan on establishing a strong web presence, but need to start with a logo and stationary.



OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

one+plus houses will be great homes alike for families with children, young professionals, empty nesters, and seniors.

They are designed for the efficiently minded, design oriented person who thinks that less is more and that style, quality, and comfort do not necessarily require large price tags.

Similar target audience as IKEA or Target.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

So far, we have used the following logo (text only). Century Gothic font, small caps, plus sign lowered: one + plus

We don't want to restrict the initial ideas – go for it!

We will be very responsive to your submissions and share our thoughts throughout the process.

We believe the winning idea will be simpler, rather than complex in look.


WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The logo needs to work in color and in black and white.

TIMELESS, elegant
Strong visual presence
Simple, clean, yet sophisticated, classy
Recognizable, memorable
Convey a sense of quality and style
