upfront bank (www.upfrontbank.com) is a blend of traditional financial institution and innovative online products

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

This logo is eye-catching and appealing. It represents the company's online identity (the company will only be online for the foreseeable future). Communicates strength, fun and community.

Feel free to experiment with various capitalizations and joining and un-joining the words upfront bank.

Here are some ideas that may "spark" your imagination. Not required, just possibilities. One of the banking products is called a "SPARK," so electricity themed logos might work well (fireflies, light bulbs, etc.) I particularly like an idea of a kite and key that are glowing from being struck with lightning.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

20s-40s affluent online banking customers; they manage their lives on the web; have wide interests; their banking helps them accomplish their goals in life; they are early adopters and use the latest and greatest technology; they are disenchanted with the financial system and are looking for a new model.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

probably want: crisp, bold, easy to understand, most likely white background, but flexible on that.
probably don't want: earth tones, flags, yellow/orange, overly complex, "hand drawn" quality, cliche bank logo
