LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are an independent insurance agency in the Los Angeles area that has been in business since 1948. We specialize in high valued clients for auto, homeowners and business insurance. For more information on us.... see our website at: www.tsu-insurance.com.

We compete with Geico, Progressive and AAA so we stress more of a personal service and lower rates to our clients then the Internet companies.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Tri-fold, 8 1/2" x 11" glossy brochure template that will be mailed to homeowners, car owners, business owners in the Southern California area. It should fold into a #10 envelope.

We will cut and paste in our photos and copy. We need the overall design elements around the copy, logo and photos.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Mostly Japanese, Chinese or American consumers looking for homeowners, auto insurance, business or health insurance. They tend to be affluent between the ages of 25-50 and married. They live in homes in the Palos Verdes or Redondo Beach where home prices are over $1 million.

We want to take a usually boring insurance piece and make it fun, hip, contemporary.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like color and cool or contemporary design images. Cartoon characters of car drivers, families in front of homes, business people/ employees, health insurance are good too.

It should have an Asian theme (Japanese) however many of our clients are not Asian as well.

We like a happy, friendly theme. We also incorporate a lot of "testimonials" in our materials so that should be considered for layouts. We usually reserve one of the 6 panels for testimonials.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

No corny Asian fonts. We do like colorful design elements on the cover since that will need to catch the eye of the reader. We like attractive Asian cartoon elements which is original and usually not incorporated into insurance materials.

Let's step out of the box and do something fun...colorful... and visual. Too many boring insurance ads that nobody pays attention to.

I included the Brochure template so that you can see the amount of copy that will be cut and pasted later to the template design. It is not important that you include this copy in your design since it may be updated or changed later. Thank you again for considering my project! Mark
