Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Wearesponsibly.com is a men's lifestyle, fashion, and technology blog.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

What I'm looking for is a logo that can be used on my blog, business card, favicon, video bug (logo in lower right corner of video player, e.g. Viddler.com, YouTube, etc).

The logo should be text based with a some type of graphical element to it (e.g. The Crowd Spring logo). And the logo should also incorporate my sites name Wearesponsibly

The logo needs to be able to be used on both a dark and white backgrounds.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Primarily Men or anyone interested in fashion, technology, etc.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Uncrate.com (http://www.uncrate.com)
Sandbox8.com (http://www.sandbox8.com)
Gilt (http://www.gilt.com)
JETSetter (http://www.jetsetter.com/)
Quick Sprout ( http://www.quicksprout.com/ )

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The logo should be text based with a some type of graphical element to it (e.g. The Crowd Spring logo). And the logo should also incorporate my sites name Wearesponsibly. The logo needs to be work on both white and dark backgrounds (transparent). Have a Web 2.0 vibe to it.

I do not want the logo to be cliche etc.
No neon colors, please!

Brief updates

I want to make clear that Wearesponsibly is not just about Men's fashion, it will also feature technology(gadget) posts, lifestyle posts (vacation destinations, cars, etc), How-To guides, etc.

Think of the site like a hybrid of GQ Magazine and Gizmodo.com.

Please stay away from obvious Men's fashion references in the logo identifier (like a necktie, etc)!

Thanks
Rob
