LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

FreeGreen.com offers free and paid downloads of house plans to the general public. With 400,000+ visitors and 36,000+ house plans distributed per year, FreeGreen.com is the largest distributor of Residential Design in the world. We are focused on combining smart design, energy efficiency and sustainability in all of our home designs.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We are seeking a logo for an upcoming contest named "Who's Next?". In this contest, Freegreen.com is challenging the home design community to re-vision the single family house. With an affordable entry fee of $50 and promotion to our entire home plan community, this will be an excellent opportunity for home designers to start a new architecture firm or revitalize an existing one ... thus the name "Who's Next?".

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Home designers and architects—especially those with an interest in sustainability and modern design.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like clean, simple designs.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The logo will be the centerpiece of all marketing efforts for this contest, including the website, and we hope it can express a number of concepts. Some concepts/imagery to think about and possibly include in the graphic are:

- Modern housing
- American flag or other symbol of the US
- the American dream (or a redefinition of it)
- discovery of new talent

Overall, because this is a design-oriented community, the logo must be modern and sophisticated. The logo may, but does not have to include the text "Who's Next?"

Noticed I left some specifics of the contest out: The challenge of the Who’s Next competition is to re-envision the typical suburban home in an ecologically conscious manner that also reflects today’s modern lifestyle.
