LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a fun weekly travel show that focuses on vacation ideas and timely travel deals. Our show called "Trip on a Deal" and is viewable at triponadeal.com
Eventually our site will also include a listing of great travel deals. The difference between our site/show and other travel sites … we do not collect any money from travel vendors. In doing so, all the stories and deals we feature are untainted by profiteering and instead are chosen in the best interest of our viewers. We are motivated by our love of travel and the growth and inspiration it encourages.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
As you can see by the show/site, we currently have a logo and color scheme, however we are not “married” to any of these design elements (colors, concepts, etc.) rather we are excited to see what the community here can come up with. There are several visual elements we use (toy plane/inflatable globe) and would be happy to see creative ideas with and without these elements. We like the message the toy plane/globe imparts: non-tech and a sense of fun, but think there are many other ways to evoke ideas like that.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Anyone who likes to travel and go on adventures but doesn't like to drain their bank account doing it
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We hesitate to share this because we don’t want to limit you, however here are some travel site logos we like:
Tripwolf.com (the slick and dimensional design)
Gadling.com (clear concept)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Travel related symbolism (doesn't have to be literal)
