LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

The Chamber of Commerce is a progressive organization that works to promote business, industry and economic growth in the community of Independence, KS. Included in this would be the Independence Convention & Visitors Bureau, which promotes Independence's many attractions and annual festivals. Independence, KS is a town built on family traditions, friendly people and an unquestionable spirit. With a rich history, effective leadership, and enduring integrity, Independence is progressively setting its sights on an innovative future. The logo will be used by the Chamber of Commerce for administrative functions and marketing purposes.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We are accepting electronic submissions for a graphical design for our Chamber of Commerce logo. The logo will be used on stationary, envelopes, business cards, the Chamber website, etc. The logo design should be submitted in two styles: color version (limit one to three colors excluding background color) and a black and white version. Copy or text should include the phrase " Independence Chamber of Commerce"

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience will be very diverse, including out of town people looking to visit, relocate or do business with the Chamber of Commerce. Also included would be local residents viewing our website.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We would like our logo to reflect a sophisticated and clean sense, with a variance of modern and contemporary styles. At this point we are open to many different color choices and designs, as we will narrow down our selections as entries are received.

WHAT WE DONT WANT TO SEE:

We do NOT want a traditional, patriotic, (red-white and blue) theme. Please no eagles, statues or political images. We are however, ok with different shades and variances of the original colors-red, white and blue, as long as they do not convey a POLITICAL theme.

We do not want any photos or half-tones.
