@onesummer. Fair point. I guess I could make a judgement based on the 'Filter', 'Rotate', 'Speech bubbles' and 'Rotate 90' icons.

Would it be possible for designers to only enter a handful (you could specify which ones) to make your decision on? and then the designer would create the rest of the 33 icons before getting payment? $1000 is a very good award amount for such a project, however designing 33 icons with no guarantee of compensation is alot. I cannot speak for others, but for me to design 33 consistent, top quality icons, will definitely take a big chunk of my time. I know what assuming does, but if you really like a handful of icons by a designer, one would 'assume' the designer is capable of producing the rest of the 33 icons at the same quality.

One other question: will these icons only be used for web (as .GIF, .PNG, or .JPG), or will they used as .ico files as well?
