LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a consultancy providing sales, service and management training to the luxury retail industry in the UK and internationally. Creator of innovative sales training, delivered by top trainers and winner of national sales training awards. Our Company was founded in 2002 and each of the Directors have over 20 years experience.

We focus on a client’s specific industry and have years of experience achieving proven financial results for our clients. We have won national awards, and use innovative ways of both selling & training. We believe we are ahead of time in the industry and offer a practical and interactive focus on training. There is no other training company that focuses on training with in the luxury goods sector.

We are unique, innovative and results-focused.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

To replace our existing logo with a graphical icon and our Company name.

Logo wording: Virada Training

Key words to describe us: Professional, luxury, quality, contemporary, creative, unique.

Colours: a luxury feel / deep, strong colours, which work on a black, grey and white background.

We plan to use the logo on stationery, website, training materials, exhibitions, large & small adverts, t-shirts, posters, pens.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Senior management / directors of large retail businesses (including internationally), who are the decision makers. We train people from Sales Consultant to Director level.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

For our website/marketing materials, we are considering the idea of having black & white photographs with specific areas highlighted in colour to stand out. And possibly using the tag-line 'stand out from the crowd'. This is why the colours must work on a grey and black background.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The objective of the logo:
Audience to think – This is a Company that can deliver results / is worth investing in / I must contact them.
Audience to feel – Confidence, inspiration

The word Virada must be legible. We had a problem with a previous logo design, as whilst it was creative, nobody knew what the Company was called.

Avoid use of cartoon, novelty, clip-art, overly feminine logos or anything new-age life-coach like. Must appeal to senior business people and men & women alike, therefore no plants, leaves, trees, wheat, pebbles, rainbows, waterfalls.

The logo must appeal to customers of different cultures.

We already have a website www.virada.co.uk but its seven years old and outdated - since its design we’ve moved our focus to the luxury goods sector.

Brief updates

The word Virada must be readable.

We'd like to see the logo on both a white and a grey background.

The word TRAINING should be incorporated into the wording i.e. VIRADA TRAINING (all text in captials) but training can be smaller if appropriate.

Where colour is used, it should be strong and deep to represent luxury.

Any graphics should be able to be reduced small without losing definition as it will need to be used on a pen and small adverts.

The font/graphic must come across as luxury.

We will not be using the tag line 'stand out from the crowd'. It's what we represent but we'll not use it as a tag line.

We may not use any tag line.

We've extended the project until 3rd October 11pm CDT and we're down 3 designs.
