Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a tire shop. People come in and we replace their tires.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo with a tire viewed from the side. In the empty space in the middle, we want the head of a Koala Bear. On the sidewall of the tire, we would like it to say 'Koala Tire'. So the whole logo will be round like the tire.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Anyone who owns a car is our target market. So it can't look too cartoony. And we don't want it to be too real either. Think Disney cartoony, not Japanese animation.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Our store is done like a 50's style garage. So retro fonts are good. Our colors are blue, beige/tan and white. We wear blue coveralls and our store t-shirts are tan. Tires are black of course and Koala's are brown, not grey. NO GREY KOALAS!

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Koala must be smiling, as he is a happy koala. Eyes need to be bright and shining. Not cutesy twinkling (think Thumper the rabbit in Bambi - NOT THAT!), but happy and shining. Koala head should fill the whole in the tire; it's OK if his cheeks overflow onto the sidewall so you can see most of the tire above and below his head, but only a little of the tire to the left and right of his cheeks. Koala heads are oval.
