LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We've been running for 8 years now and have come to be one of the most respected metal music sites in the world. 40,000 unique visitors visit the site each month and we specialize in album reviews.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Our logo goes on tour sponsorship posters, t-shirts and various websites. It has such a weird shape, it's hard to fit it anywhere and doesn't look good when it's small. I have attached a copy of what we have now. Our brand must portray heaviness, strength, professionalism, blocky, hard, serious, mean. We want a brand with an overall shape that will be easy to read/put on posters, t-shirts and our website.

I like the skull-horns illustration we have. Feel free to change it up. We're open to your ideas.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

We target mostly males in the ages of 18-40.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

I have attached a .png version of our logo. We like the red: #840024 and usually use shades of gray and black on the website. We're open though... we would like our brand updated, but if you have some wild new idea that you think will blow us away, then we'd love to see it.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Our website is http://metalreview.com. We prefer "Metal Review" for the logo text without the ".com".

I have attached a tour poster to this project. If you look on the bottom, we are the 4th logo in the first row. The logo just doesn't look good when really small like that. I can barely read it.

Let me also add... don't necessarily have to have a skull with horns. If the one I attached can get integrated into the logo, then good. Creating a new skull/horns is NOT required. I would love to see some fresh ideas in different shapes and sizes.... Thanks.

I uploaded a rough prototype of our new website. This new logo will fit in the upper left where the skull/horns is. I like this color scheme.
