Creative brief

NY based interior designer looking for a business
card, logo, stationery design. Transitioning from
the arena of film set decoration to interior design
in the residential private sector, I'm looking for
a design that reflects my taste and style, which is
modern, sophisticated, yet somewhat eclectic and the goal is to have my card inspire interest
and curiosity about my work. My work incorporates all sorts of materials from furniture
to fabrics, wall coverings, floor coverings, art
and accessories and these are all items that can
be considered to incorporate into a design without being too literal or overdone. I'm trying to
reach a more upscale New York City market,
so sophistication is the key. Think Elle Decor,
Metropolitan Home and Domino in terms of design magazines to peruse. I've included my
current business card and added some images
of fabrics that I like which can be used as both
color and design departure points. My colors of
choice are muted blues and greens and earth tones. For the record, the word Antara from my company name Antara Design, means interiors.
For posting purposes, I'd prefer my phone number and email address not be included, as I
will furnish that info to the winning designer to complete the design as required. My current card is printed front and back, incorporating a
partial wallpaper print. It's a nice touch in terms
of the overall look of the card, with visual interest
being on both sides of the card, although this is
not a prerequisite. Also, in terms of file types needed, I'm no expert here, so I may need some guidance. I've checked them all for now, and down the line, will want to do a website incorporating the winning design.
