LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

PushyParent.com is aimed at parents who want to proactively engage with their child through fun educational activities.

It is a web site run by teachers and educational professionals for parents providing fun activities and articles aimed at children between 3 and 11 years old, aimed at helping parents understand where their child should be development wise, complimenting their normal education and helping out with specific issues.

Despite the name it is not about overzealous parents who subject their offspring to military style regimes, rather fun ways you can engage with your child rather then let them be bought up by the TV or games console.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a log to be used for the web site. It needs to be fresh, colourful fun and contemporary with a children's based theme indicating learning or education in line with the concept above.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Parents of children aged 3-11 who need to perceive PushParent.com as a fun but educational resource.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Once we start to see some concepts we will provide detailed feedback as to what is and isn't working for us to give you all some direction.

Brief updates

The logo must somehow indicate children, or childrens learning in it, this does not necessarily mean it has to have a child itself contained, it could contain objects that represent children or learning. A cartoony style seems to work quite well, we want somethign fairly bold so not too much intricate detail.

If you would like a steer then look at our previous projects for the type of Logos that we end up choosing, they are all bold and vibrant yet simple, some of the stuff that we are seeing here is very artisitc but a little too complex for our taste and need. The Logo will solely be used for the web so whilst its target market is parents it still needs a strong web identity.

Simple, bold and vibrant but linked to the theme, i.e. children. Thanks.

Hi, another update, the logos that we have really liked so far have had the name pushyparent.com and the logo element incorporated into one. We would also like to see more use of primary colours as opposed to pastels in the designs. Thanks.
