Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

32 Church is the name of the restaurant and it is also the address. It is a fine –dining but not upscale dining. Our average dinner is $35 per person and it is also a Bring Your Own. We are looking at many inspirations for the décor. We know it will be dark woods and will have many tea lights and white candles. It has very high ceilings and will have large French doors that open up to the street. There is a wide brick sidewalk outside with tables nestled under a tree with white lights. It will have a vibe of a chic American Bistro, if you will, with atmospheric cool jazz/Buddha Bar music playing in the background. The neighborhood has a very cool SOHO NY vibe to it.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need logo treatments that will capture the restaurant's modern cool feel and one that creates an iconic address; easy-to-say and easy-to-remember.


OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our place is for hipsters and married couples looking for a night out to enjoy superbly cooked meals in a very cool atmosphere. Our audience dresses up for dinner without over doing it and is very comfortable spending $75- $125 for dinner for two a least twice a month. The chef is known for his cuisine, so we have that covered.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We want at least one treatment where the number 32 is inside a circle or oval.

One treatment will incorporate fire and or flames.

One treatment with our initial colors: deep burnt orange or rust, black and charcoal grey.

Keep the 3-D logo designs to a minimum.
