Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

RR is an urban collegiate, runway styled/based, fashion competition. This is an annual event entering its first year. ( Essentially a pageant featuring groups rather than idividuals)

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a logo that will lend the program official credibility from first sight. We would like for the logo to grow to be iconic among our target. The logo will be used in all materials; registration, promotion, and other collateral. The artwork should be vibrant, involve fashion elements, and appeal to both sexes. The logo can be sexy, but not raunchy.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is the black collegiate demographic. 18-25 yrs old, 65% female 35% male

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

For the last three years the BET program "Rip the Runway" has had some very good logos. Also I like the visual for the CBS program "Fashion Rocks". The logos both express exactly what each show represents, an intersection of fashion and music! Also, I like the "America's Best Dance Crew" design. (I have posted a file of the "Rip The Runway" logo, and the most recent one is online, I could not isolate the image.)

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The logo MUST communicate: urban, fashion, competition, college

Brief updates

Please find ways to include fashion elements true to both sexes. Like heels, jewelry, bowties, etc. Plus it must be sleek and dynamic!

Thanks

Please look at the new file I uploaded to Materials, the two designs at the top have some of the elements I like, they just lack a sleek or dynamic nature. But they do incorporate a runway and speak to both sexes.

All the new logos are an improvement upon the first bunch but when designing please keep the following in mind: fashion elements (that appeal to both sexes), vibrant, dynamic, and I need a the words to be stylized in some form (not plain)

In fact a simple, sleek, dynamic improvement upon the two logos at the top of the file uploaded to the materials box would suffice.
