Thanks so much for the initial submissions. All are good in their own way. Having seen some of the initial ideas we wanted to focus the efforts. We have realized that the top video sites like www.Hulu.com and www.Youtube.com are displaying their screen captures of their videos in widescreen format. Thanks so much for the initial submissions. All are good in their own way. Having seen some of the initial ideas we wanted to focus the efforts. We have realized that the top video sites like www.Hulu.com and www.Youtube.com are displaying their screen captures of their videos in widescreen format. The reason is that it gives the sense that it is Hi Definition content. We're going to have to make all the screen captures in the Control Room, into widescreen formatting like Hulu. We also think the videos themselves should not have rounded corners for the same reasons. Therefore, rounded corner styling should be for elements of the design of the page, not the video captures themselves.

We like the cleaner content on white background designs more. (Like dakotavision, Alex-designer) but we still want the users eyes to focus on that Control Room grid of videos. So clear divisions in design should exist between the different areas of content on the page.

We still like the style that tm2008pro is going for, but at the same time, want to merge it slightly with the modern 3Dish aspects of Dakotavision's design. (less)
